NP Scholarship

Hola!~ ^^v
Today is the first day that the freshmen at NP is allowed to sign in to their accounts at the NP portal to apply for their scholarships. I tried to do that minutes earlier, and the website gave me some bullpoopie of
'An error occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please email to dept-cc@np.edu.sg'
I guess the server is either not ready yet, or that there too many students, who have scored adequately like me, applying for scholarships. XD
Let's just hope that the IExcel Award I have gotten from my secondary school will give me a leg up in the intense competition for the prestigious scholarships then. :P
I'll update this blog when I have finally applied for it. Heh. (;

Downloading NP Softwares

Well, I've tried downloading softwares on my MBP at home, and at the appointment I have made while in school. Neither worked out because of a perpetual error that keeps popping up whenever the download is somewhat commencing. It is this
'This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.'
or this
'Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable.'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I totally panicked!! I thought it was something to do with my comp being a mac or something. Even the IT people down at Ngee Ann Poly said that it was the first time he had seen such an error. So, supremely worried, I took my problem filled lappy home and attempted to download the softwares required for my course several times, but to no avail.
Just when I was thinking about giving up, tada! I searched google for the solution. And here they are!! All my softwares are nicely downloaded into my Bootcamp. :P
The trick here is to add a new account user to your computer, and let it be an administrator too. Then, just download all your softwares from that account. Simple ain't it? ^^ Hope this will help those of you who faces such problems. :P

Hello to nobody!!! ^^
Okay~~ So yeah. I just boot camp-ed my new mbp with windows 7. And well, IT WORKS PERFECTLY!! ^^
Though I was freaked out a little during the installation.. But yeah. If u just follow the instructions strictly, you will be fine. (:
Just remember that it is VITAL to use a valid CD-ROM or hard disk to back up your stuff~~
Oh yes. And I just bought a new speck hardshell satin case for my mac too. (:
IT LOOKS GORGEOUS~~~
Heh. However, I do wonder occasionally whether or not I'm going overboard with my pink comp. XD
Even my keyboard protector is pink!! :P
Like like like like like! ^^
Okay~~
So im gonna start downloading the software needed for my course soon on my pc partition tomorrow. Hope everything goes smoothly, and nothing goes wrong. XD

PS: Sigh.. I really need to start getting into french mode! School is starting soon, and i wanna get a headstart in my language classes.. :x

Okay.. My secondary life is alr over, and I'm now waiting for my poly life to start. (:It was just a few weeks ago when I was still researching all over the place, looking for answers to my future life in poly. Such as.. whether or not I can get a macbook for my business studies in Ngee Ann Poly.. Or what my scholarships would cover~ So yeah. I think I'm gonna start using this blog to answer these questions. So that my future juniors won't get such an earful of nagging from their parents saying that they are inefficient or whatever. :p
Okay! So.. i have gotten myself a macbook pro 15" for my business studies course~ Some said that the windows 7 partition would slow down the mac. I have yet to download it into my computer yet.. So yeah. I'll see how it goes a few days later before posting about it again. (:
(Heh. The main reason is actually cuz i just wanna use my new comp to type a bunch of stuff to satisfy my typing urge. MUAHAHA. ^^v)
Okay~~ Argh. Gonna be late for class outing again. I think. >< Adios! Till next time. (:

Wow. It has been eons since i wrote a blog entry. I seemed to have forgotten how~ XD
I am writing now just for the sake of filling up the damn space~
So many things have happened over the months..
The days will grow to become tougher and tougher each day, what with some personal and school stuff going on now. :x
I will try my best to adapt though. Cuz afterall, isnt that what the Veron spirit is about? ^^
Okay. Speaking of which, i think i should go and start studying and start doing my homework soon. I had been slacking for practically the whole of today. XD
Lazy me. ^^
I want go swim later with daddy. Hope nothing crops up again~
PS: I think i went slightly overboard yesterday. I hope ur hate will subside soon. I dont like being hated. :P

Hey peeps~
I'm back frm Yunnan!! ^^
I've been MIA-ing frm my comp for the last month or so..
to concentrate on watching my beloved cantonese dramas!!! ^^
was watching 'Gong Xin Ji'
but now finish watching liaoz.
DAMN NICE!!! ^^
though i think Charmaine Sheh's role is TOO goody-two-shoes!! >3<
can't stand it. =x
but i think Tavia Yeung's acting skills hav improved tremendously. ^^
All in all, it's a nice nice nice show. :D
oh well, i shall try my best to revive this blog!!!
all while completing my hw in time.. ;p
cuz i haven't started at all!!! XP
ok.. maybe i've done 10 questions or so for th math paper, but tt's all!!! >3<
pathetic.. :'(
oh well... i haven't eaten for the WHOLE day now.
